I'm still trying to use older stamps when making cards and I have one that sparked my card for Freshly Made Sketches. Christmas Rose from WPlus9.
It is stamped with Memento Toffee Crunch and colored with CP inks for the flowers and Distress Inks for the leaves. I added white anthers with a Uni-Ball pen and a few splatters before stamping the sentiment from PTI in Toffee Crunch. The colors were inspired by my own flowers that I always called Lenten Roses, scientific name Hellebore.
Thanks for dropping by and spending a bit of your day with me.

Perfect for the sketch and beautifully colored Bobby! Lovely, lovely card and real life flowers too! Hugs. :0)
I love these flowers, both the card and the real ones. I can see why they inspire you! So glad to see you this week at FMS!
Such a lovely card, and the splatters are the perfect final touch. Weather here has been brutal. Last was an ice storm that took power from most of Roscommon County. Hopefully your cottage will be okay. It's been a heck of a winter up here!!!
Your marvelous paper version is as pretty as the real deal, Bobby! Maybe prettier!
Beautiful card and beautiful coloring Bobby. Your real flowers are lovely too. TFS
Bobby, I think you saw a perfect match to that sketch here in this beautiful grouping of Hellebores! Thanks so much for planting them in our FMS garden!
