There's a clean and simple challenge over at Inkspirational with the optional twist of plaid. I love plaid so had to include it on my card.
I'm always in need of masculine birthday cards and I thought cattails and a seed pod from Honey Bee would be the way to go. This plaid from Honey Bee was such a great color to go with them. The sentiment is from PTI.

Plaid is always a great choice for a masculine card and I love it with your die-cut elements. I had to laugh when I saw your card as it reminded me of an incident many years ago when my hubby and I were on a walk and decided to take some cat tails home with us. About a month later we came home from work and they had exploded all over the living room and there was a carpet of seed pods! We carefully gathered them up and put them outside! Needless to say, the cats had a field day with them in the house!
