Freshly Made Sketches #693

I had a little time to make a card for Freshly Made Sketches before my company comes.

The weeds are a mix of Honey Bee's Autumn Bouquet and Fall Foliage, all cut in white, colored with Altenew inks, and arranged on a panel embossed with HB's Burlap.  The Altenew sentiment is in a wood look frame from WF.

Thanks for dropping by.  This sentiment is meant for all of you.

Color Throwdown #820

Whenever I see the colors like those in the Color Throwdown challenge, I usually pull out my Honey Bee Autumn Bouquet.

The stems were all cut from kraft and the 'blossom's' from colored cardstock inked for dimension.  HB's picnic basket makes a great container cut in a plaid from my stash and the background is their burlap folder.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do.

Time Out #273 - Inspired by Words

It's time for another challenge at Time Out and this one is so appropriate for this time of year in the US.  It's our Inspired by Words challenge.

I love the colors of autumn and went with that for my card, and didn't use any leaves at all. ;)

The bouquet of 'weeds' is from Honey Bee's Lovely Layers Autumn Bouquet,  cut from white cardstock and colored with Distress Inks.  They are arranged in their Rattan Basket that was cut from Desert Storm and gently inked around the edges.  The background is some of Altenew's Yogurt cardstock embossed with their Woven Basket folder.  I love all the color and texture.

Now it's your turn.  How do those words speak to you?  You can use any or all of them to inspire your card.  Take a peek at what the Design Team has done.  The winner of the challenge will receive a $20 store credit from our sponsor Poppy Stamps.
