Christmas Craft Creations 2.23

Yesterday I posted a card for the Christmas Throwdown but when I first looked at the challenge I went to the wrong site and saw the prompt was pink.  I started working on a pink card but then went back to the Throwdown to see if other colors could be added and saw that I had been in the wrong place.  The end result of my brain fog is that I now have another card for my Christmas stash.  This one is for Christmas Craft Creations. 

Watercolor paper was smooshed with Distress Inks and then cut with Altenew's 3D Poinsettia Die.  The flower was placed on a panel embossed with a TH/Sizzix folder and a silver heat embossed sentiment from Penny Black.

Christmas Craft Creations - Snippets

I'm still working on Christmas cards.  This is the second one I've posted this week and it's for Christmas Craft Creations.  They want you to use your snippets and who doesn't have a lot of those.

This paper pack is from 2013 and I don't know why I bought it.  It has a lot of brown and darker Christmas colors in it.  I want to use it up so took the scraps to make these gifts from the layered boxes from Waffle Flower.  PTI's Rustic Cream was used for the card base to go with the rather rustic look of the paper.  The sentiment is from Penny Black. 

While I had the scraps out, I made a second card - different orientation.

I can see using this die set for presents for both Christmas and birthdays.

Christmas Craft Creations - October 2022 reminder

 There is still time for you to play in this month's Christmas Craft Creations challenge.

My card is CAS, depending on your definition.  Simple anyway.

It all started with Altenew's Perfect Poinsettia 3D embossing folder, borrowed from Michele.  I added Nuvo Glitter Drops to the centers and a word die from PB, layered with glitter cardstock on top.   

I want to thank the Christmas Craft Creations Design Team for having me as their guest this month.  It has been a long time since I've made a white on white card and it stretched my imagination and creativity.

Christmas Craft Creations - October 2022

I was asked to be a guest designer at Christmas Craft Creations after winning their Winter Activities challenge with this card.   This month the theme is white on white. 

This is not always the easiest of themes but I knew right away I wanted to make a white poinsettia.

The die is from Altenew, cut in alternating layers of white and glitter cardstock.  For the sentiment I heat embossed a PB sentiment on a leaf cut from vellum and added a couple of others to balance it out.  The same glitter cardstock was used for a frame.
