Double D - Frames

I love all the wonderful frames that are the inspiration at Double D.  What I wouldn't give to have some of them just to hang, no pictures needed.  But my card does include a frame and picture.

Stamped on Bristol, the PB Garden Trio image was colored with Zigs.  The PB Double Frame was cut from a TH pack that I thought gave a patina look,  layered and then foam popped.  The sentiment is a SB BetterPress.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a crafty day.

As You See It #348

I had a leftover piece of embossed watercolor paper in with the frame die and used it to make a card for As You See It - Spots or Stripes.  I wasn't sure if embossed spots were what they were looking for until I saw DT member Joanne's card.

The Penny Black frame aperture had already been cut from it so I cut another piece for the actual frame in addition to two other layers.  For some reason the panel was short for an A2 card so I cut the bottom off the card base.  The center was used to stamp the PB Love Blooms flower that was watercolored with Distress Inks.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders.

Freshly Made Sketches #680 and NBUS #73

Freshly Made Sketches has a wonderfully versatile sketch this week and I couldn't wait to make a card using some new products.

The flowers from Penny Black's Love Blooms were cut from watercolor paper and colored in lavender because I had fully intended to enter my card at The Paper Players but missed the deadline.   Before tucking them into the layered frame, also from PB, I stamped the background with MFT's Brush Spatter and stamped the sentiment from MCS.

This will be going to Darnell's NBUS since both the frame and flowers have never been used before.

Thanks for dropping by.

The Card Concept #133, Inkspirational #211 and NBUS #13

While looking for something else, I ran across a PB stamp that I hadn't used.  I set it on my desk just waiting for the right challenge to come along and today I saw The Card Concept.  I knew it would be perfect for their clean and simple category.
I stamped it on Bristol and colored it with Zigs, adding a heat embossed sentiment from MFT and some splatters.  The splatters allowed me to send my card to Inkspirational.  And because the stamp is new unused, I'm sending it to the NBUS challenge.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you're staying home and staying safe.
