Just Us Girls Challenge #789 - Mood Board Week

Lisa has a Mood Board for the challenge at Just Us Girls this week.

There are so many ways to go with this and although it had me stumped at first I'm happy with my card.

I randomly stamped the books from Altenew's Tall Tales around the edge of my panel and colored them with artist markers. The sentiment is from the same set and both panels were cut with Hero Arts Postage die and added to a dark green base.

Time Out #242

It's time for a new challenge at Time Out and we want you to be inspired by these words: "If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales." ~ Albert Einstein.

I knew I was going to have to think outside the box to come up with a card for this challenge.  And I think I succeeded.

Using Altenew's Tall Tales, I stamped the bookshelf and colored it with artist markers.  Then I hand wrote the titles of some favorite fairy tales on the jackets. The sentiment from the set is exactly right.  I still remember most of these beloved stories.

Time Out #236

It's World Book Day and Time Out wants you to use that as your inspiration for our challenge. For more information go to the blog. 

 

I must admit I had nothing that I could use for this so I did some shopping and bought Altenew's Tall Tales.

I stamped and masked the stack of books so I could stamp the little girl, then colored everything with Altenew artist markers.
