52 Christmas Card Throwdown 6.24

Hey there.  I'm so glad you dropped by.

I missed a couple of weeks of 52 Christmas Card Throwdown but I'm back today with their color challenge - blue and white.

The layered snowflake is from Altenew, cut in two layers of blue, one from a mica spray panel and one from white.  The coverplate and sentiment are both from Concord & 9th.

The Flower Challenge #86

The Flower Challenge is looking for a certain color of cards this month.  Specifically yellow, black and white.

I have always loved Altenew's Wallpaper Art.  The flowers are big and bold and look good in white for a modern look.  I stamped the leaves from the set directly on the Lemon Drop paper from GinaK and layered the flowers with die cuts.

We're welcoming Marcia Hill as the newest designer to fill out the team.  You will be thrilled with her floral creations.

It's time to head on over to The Flower Challenge for inspiration from our mostly new Design Team.  We'd love to see your yellow, black and white floral cards in our gallery.

Color Throwdown #649

Just a quick post to get under the wire for Color Throwdown.

Of course every time I see color I think of flowers so I went through what I brought with me and thought these Altenew flowers would look lovely in the required colors.

I colored them with Zigs and mounted them on a quilt panel from HoneyBee., popping up the large one  The heat embossed sentiment is from The Ton.

Thanks for dropping by.

Color Throwdown #590

Happy Sunday, friends.  I have a card  for Color Throwdown.
I adore my Canterbury Bells from Altenew and have stamped them in almost every color.  They look wonderful mixed together in the challenge colors.  I cut a panel with a Gina Marie die and mounted everything on Neenah Desert Storm.  I'm not sure I like the sentiment along the side but it said what I wanted to say.

And I say it to all of you.  I wish you all the good things.

CAS Colours and Sketches #367

I've had CAS Colours and Sketches on my challenge list for a while but I'm not sure I've ever entered a card.  Today I have one using these colors.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the colors was my Altenew tulip, that is stamped in Altenew ink. I added blue behind a TH die cut and used a PB sentiment.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you are safe and healthy and keep smiling.

Less is More #415

I think the colors at Less is More are perfect for any kind of floral image.  I chose a Dahlia from Altenew for mine.
The leaves look rather green here but I used Evening Gray and Moon Rock from Altenew along with Pinkalicious and Ruby Red for the blossom.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and appropriate for the times so that's my message to you today.

Color Throwdown #525

It's my second week in a row playing at Color Throwdown
I love the rustic look in the photo.  It's my kind of decorating but I strayed away from it a little with my card while still using the colors.
I pulled out this ancient houndstooth paper for my background and added the jar from Clearly Besotted, the flowers from Catherine Pooler and the sentiment from Happy Little Stampers.  I may get this color challenge thing down if I keep this up. ;)

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope your week is off to a great start.
