CAS(E) This Sketch #387

I finally got a chance to make a card for a challenge.  This one is for CAS(E) This Sketch.

The cupcakes from MFT were colored with Zigs, with some winking on the frosting.  The sentiment is from the same set, bordered with a blue Zigged panel.

The lifestyle at the lake is different and I'm getting used to it and loving it.  More socialization, more time to read, less cooking.  But also less crafting and that I don't like.  I'm still trying to get used to the new blogger, doing everything on Chromebook, and working with photo editing, all while my supplies are scattered here and there.  Hopefully I can make different arrangements next year.  I'm working on a plan. ;)

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Inspired By All the Little Things #84

I happened to have a panel of colored photo paper that was in all the colors of the inspiration photo at Inspired By All the Little Things.  Don't ask me what I used because I don't remember.  It's really too light for alcohol inks so it could be smooshed DOXs.  Whatever it was it worked for this card.
I white heat embossed the Altenew cupcakes from behind so the paper wouldn't bubble.  Then I colored the cake and wrappers with Distress Markers.  I was hoping they would cover better but only the brown and blue one at the top did.  The card needed something more so I stamped W&W Confetti on the front before stamping the sentiment and popping up the cupcakes.

I'm so glad you dropped by.  Enjoy your day.

CASology #266

With all the birthday cards I do, you'd think I'd have more cake images.  I have a large one from C&9th and a cupcake from Altenew that I used for CASology this week.

I stamped it on an MFT oval and colored it with Zigs before popping it up on foam.  The SPD confetti was an afterthought but it adds a little party to the cake.

I'm so glad you dropped by.  I hope you come back again.

Just Us Girls #398

Hey all.  It's Bobby and I'm your host for this weeks challenge at Just Us Girls.  It's color week and I chose
I must confess that I knew what I was going to do before I picked the colors which made it real easy.
The cupcakes are from Altenew and I had to make them chocolate - my favorite.  These are layered stamps and I used Altenew inks with them.  The lightest yellow is called Buttercream.  Very appropriate for frosting, don't you think?

What will you make using yellow, aqua and brown?  The Design Team and guest designer Estelle have cards to inspire you on the blog.  If you enter a card in the gallery you may be chosen Chic of the Week with a chance to be our guest designer in August.  How about it?

AAA Cards Birthday Bash

It's AAA Cards Challenge's 3rd birthday and they are having a party for themselves - and us as there are prizes to be had and a fun Blog Hop. Congratulations AAA!  Here's my card for you.

I stamped the Altenew Layered Cupcake in the colors of the AAA logo as closely as I could.

Thanks for dropping by.

Addicted to CAS #

That's the challenge this week at Addicted to CAS and I didn't think I'd be able to play because I don't have any cake stamps or dies.  Or so I thought.  Then I remembered a PB set with a little cupcake. "How can a little cupcake fill a card", I asked, talking to myself as I often do.  When I came across the sentiment I knew just what to do.
I think the sentiment was intended to be part outside and part inside but it worked all on the front for this little black and white number.  A tiny red border adds just the right amount of color to what could be a masculine card.

Thanks for dropping by.
