The Paper Players #300

I used to play in the Paper Players challenge early on and somehow it got lost in my list of challenges.  When I saw they reached their 300th challenge I wanted to help them celebrate.  That's the theme for their challenge and here's my card.
All it took was a little Winnie and Walter and a few Zigs.  Oh and some DI for splatters.  Happy 300th Paper Players.  May you have many more!

Happy Little Stampers for August

Yippee!! I've gotten through all the emails in my inbox.  What a load off my mind.  It was keeping me from checking in with those I follow on Blogger and from beginning to use Feedly. Some of you may have thought I'd given up on you.  Not a chance.  I will be back commenting on your creations now that Feedly is ready to go.

I've also been catching up on challenges and it's been great getting back into card making on a regular basis.  It seems the ideas flow much better when you keep at it.  Kind of like exercise.  You stop for a few days and it's like starting over.

Today's card is for the sketch challenge at Happy Little Stampers.  There are three HLS challenges in all ( Sketch, CAS, and Christmas) and they run monthly so there's no excuse not to enter them.

I used Avery Elle's Party set for the entire card, stamping the lanterns in a variety of HA inks.  How easy is that?!  Oh, I WOSed them, too.

Curtain Call - Totally Tassel

When Curtain Call posted their challenge Totally Tassel, a lot of you thought of graduation and the tassel that hangs from a mortarboard.  I must admit I did, too, but I don't have any graduation stamps. My next thought was my new W & W Party set.

I silver embossed the lanterns with attached tassels on colored vellum and the "string" from the Party Additions set on Smoke cardstock.  To give the background a little more oomph, I stamped lanterns with VersaMark Dazzle Frost.  The sentiment is in HA Charcoal.  The card looks much better IRL with is shimmer and shine.

Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate your visits and comments.
