CAS(E) This Sketch #391

Three more days in Michigan and then we're off to Ohio.  Before I packed up all my stuff I wanted to get a card made for CAS(E) This Sketch.  Working with what I had, I ended up turning the sketch on its side.

I used the MFT lattice dies for the two panels and added some WPlus 9 petunias.  Once again I had a problem with the sentiment with some of the letters fattening out and feathering. I've decided that it's the ink so I won't be using that anymore, at least for sentiments.

I'm glad you dropped by.  Take care.

The Flower Challenge April Reminder

Have you seen the sketch at The Flower Challenge
This is the format you are to use for your card this month and there is still time to play.  The Design Team has more inspiration for you over on the blog.
Here are the details on mine.
The petunias are from WPlus9 and I placed one on the lattice die cut from MFT and made a pot for the other ones from an MFT oval.  A little Hickory Smoke DI adds some dimension.  The sentiment is from PTI.  This may be a little out of proportion but you can still recognize the sketch in it.

Now it's your turn.  Take the sketch, adds some flowers and enter it in the challenge.  We'd love to see what you create.

CAS(E) This Sketch #192

A card for fun, and for CAS(E) This Sketch:

A MFT lattice in white with flowers and leaves from leftover smooshes make up my soft stone card, with a little heavy green thread woven in. Enamel accents in black and a sentiment from CB finish it off.
ETA:  This card won an honorable mention at CTS.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope your week is going well.
