Freshly Made Sketches #702

I was so tempted to do a Christmas card for Freshly Made Sketches but my Honey Bee Fall Bouquet was calling.

The pumpkin was cut in orange and shaded with orange and white inks.  The sunflower is part of the set but the leaf comes from HB's Fall Foliage, cut in tan and inked.  The background paper is from a TH pack and the sentiment is from C9's Birdhouse Blossoms.

So glad you dropped by.  I love your visits and your comments.

Just Us Girls #697 - Photo/Moodboard Week

Carol Mayne is our host for Photo Week at Just Us Girls and she has a great moodboard for this time of year.

Here's a closer look.

I didn't have many stamps/dies with me that would work for any of these images but I zeroed in on the upper left photo and tried to replicate it.

It all started with smooshing Distress Inks on mixed media paper until I was happy with it.  A leaf from Honey Bee's Fall Foliage was cut from the center,  stacked three high and inlaid.  The panel was stamped with a sentiment from Altenew, trimmed down and attached to some rust paper.

Which photo captures your attention?  For inspiration please check out the cards from the Design Team and our guest designer Stephanie Lanzalotto.  If you are the winner of the challenge, you could be a future guest.

CAS This Sketch #367

It's amazing what you find in your stash when you go looking for something else.  I had forgotten about my Sizzix leaves and ran across them while looking for something for the CAS This Sketch challenge.  They had just what I needed.
I cut the leaf from some Brusho paper in my WTDWT Drawer and made the 'tree trunk' from a SU crackle background stamp and  Distress Ink.

Thanks for dropping by.  I do hope you enjoy your day.

CAS(E) This Sketch #271

I need more masculine birthday cards so I made one for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.
It's based on this sketch
using some ancient DSP with a matching solid I found in my stash and PTI Dark Chocolate for the C9 leaf that is layered for dimension.  I placed it all on Altenew Spicy Yogurt cs.

I have a pinched nerve in my neck which requires physical therapy that starts tomorrow.  Crafting aggravates it so I'm going rather slow, not only because of the neck but I just haven't had much luck with my cards.  Murphy's Law has kicked in and so I'm just playing until something comes together.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope your crafting time is going well.
