Inkspirational #309

Hey there.  I'm glad you dropped by.

All my valentines were done and mailed when I saw the heart challenge at Inkspirational.  Now I have a start for next year.

The Greetery's heart wreath was cut from white and inked with Distress Oxides in Rustic Wilderness,  Bundled Sage and Broken China.  The love die from Neat and Tangled was cut from textured gold.  Once in place I thought it looked lopsided so added a SSS heart in the same gold.

Stay warm and keep crafting.

Just Us Girls #594 - Photo Week

Another week is upon us and another challenge for Just Us Girls.  This is photo week and here's what our host Nancy wants you to use to inspire your card.

I must admit I was stumped at first because this says nautical to me and I have no nautical stamps or dies.  When I looked closer I remembered a die set from Concord and 9th and that's what I used for my card.

While it looks black in the photo, I cut the die from navy cardstock and then from white.  I placed the white panel over the red leaving a border and inlaid the blue outline.  This all went onto navy to add another border and then onto my card base.  I do send valentines so I'm saving this for then.

What does your mind's eye see?  I hope you will make a card based on the photo and enter it in the gallery for a chance to be a guest designer like Chrissie.  She and the rest of the Design Team have cards to inspire you over on the blog.

Inspired By #58

Love is in the air and challenges are taking advantage of it.  This week's Inspired By challenge has a vignette of colors and texts that are perfect for valentines.  I made this one.
The darling bear from PB is colored with Zigs and perched atop several layers of the word die from EBE.  It's now on it's way to my equally darling great granddaughter.

I'm so glad you dropped by.  Have a crafty good day.
