Just Us Girls #792 - Word Week

Carol Mc is the host for Word Week at Just Us Girls and has chosen this:

There are so many ways you can go with this word but I chose to use Pitcher-esque from The Greetery as my container.

After stamping and cutting the pitcher, I filled it with flowers from Simon Hurley's Floral Stems and placed it on an embossed background using Altenew's Window Slats folder.

What will you use for a container?  For inspiration, check out what the Design Team and our guest Jaydee have made.

The Card Concept #153

When I have just what I need to make a card, I'm impelled to make one.  Such is the case at The Card Concept.

Lavender from PTI in a container from Penny Black with a little sentiment tag from My Craft Spot (oob) and my clean and layered card is done.

The stamps were colored with PolyChromos pencils.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do.

Just Us Girls #559

It's Photo Week at Just Us Girls and this is what our host Nancy has picked to inspire you.

I first noticed the shiplap in the background and then the vase of flowers.  I used them both in my design.
The shiplap is a stencil from Honey Bee that was inked with Frayed Burlap.  The pitcher is from The Greetery and the flowers from Altenew.  I stamped them in Antique Linen and no-line watercolored them.  That's not something I do often or easily but I have a thing stamped only items mixed with black outlined images.  I added a piece of woodgrain paper and used a PolycChromo pencil to make the shading.  The sentiment is from The Ton.

The Design Team and our guest designer Karen Walker hope they inspire you with their cards to join the challenge.  Will we see you in the gallery?

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.
