Freshly Made Sketches #664

I almost did what a lot of the designers at Freshly Made Sketches did - use trees.  But while looking at a tree stamp from Reverse Confetti, I found another one in the DVD case that would work just as well.

The candles are colored with Altenew artist markers with a little WOS on the flames and Pico Embellishment on the drips.  For the background, I partially debossed the rays die, also from RC, and inked it with Citrus Burst.  The bottom half is a swipe of Limestone and the sentiment is from PB.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Inspired By - Colorful Kicks

I knew what to do the minute I saw the photo at Inspired By.  Get out my NBUS All Star High Top from MFT.
I bought this die because my granddaughter loves to wear her Converse and while she does have a pair in yellow she often wears one each of red and blue.  I was cutting down some of my 12x12 paper to fit in my desktop paper trays and this textured yellow was among them - the perfect choice.  I was on the ball enough to put Couture Creations double sided tape on my papers before cutting out those tiny pieces.  I can't believe how easy that made putting it all together.  I'm not usually a "little bits" kind of card maker but the adhesive worked like a charm.  The rays die by Reverse Confetti made a wonderful background.  Again I struggled with a sentiment but this one by Technique Tuesday worked.  Especially since Kjerstin will be embarking on new adventures soon.

I'm also sending this over to the NBUS challenge.

Thanks for dropping by.  What new adventures do you have in store?
