Just Us Girls #363 - Word Week

This past week went by fast and now it's time for the next challenge at Just Us Girls.

Leaves are so beautiful this time of year so I couldn't resist making a card with some colorful ones.
I cut my NBUS Lively die from PB from watercolor paper and slapped it around in some Rusty Hinge Distress Ink.  Loll warned me about how flimsy this branch can get when it's wet and she was right.  I added another layer behind it to give it some stability.  I also put some gold Perfect Pearls on the ends of the leaves.  Using my MFT Burlap stamp I added some Cup O' Joe to a large panel of Desert Storm and then cut a smaller panel to put my leaves on.  I rescued the dark brown from my scrap pile and gold embossed a sentiment from HA on it.

What kind of leaves would you make for this challenge?  Don't just think about it.  Do it!  Check out what the rest of the Design Team and guest designer Jaydee have done to inspire you.  We'd love to see you in the gallery.  You could be chosen Chic of the Week with a chance to be a guest designer like Jaydee.

That is a gorgeous card. The colors are amazing and I love the little bit of gold on the tips of the leaves. I'm crazy about the burlap background too. It has been a pleasure being on the DT with you.

I can't tell you how much I love this card. That background is just awesome....I have a similar one and never think to use it. Anyway, I really like how you have used all neutrals and then used that punch of color for the leaves. just gorgeous!!!!

Who would have thought one simple leaf could pack such a powerful punch like this has. Love the burlap background and the sentiment in gold. Just beautiful Bobby!
