This challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More is for a holiday card - any holiday. Most people will probably chose Christmas so they can get a head start on the number of cards they need but I chose to go with Halloween instead. I do send Halloween cards to my grandchildren and they are fun to make.
For this card I was inspired by one that Kelly Griglione made here. She used Brutus Monroe Color Bursts for her background and I have Brushos but you can get similar results.
I sprinkled my powders on Mixed Media paper and sprayed them, adding more powder in different colors until I was satisfied. Then I took a stencil from CPD, added black powder and misted. Okay, I sprayed. Maybe a little too much water here but I still like it. To top it off I splattered some Inka- Gold. The sentiment, spider and web are all from W&W and heat embossed.
There are many holidays represented by the Design Team cards. Why not check them out for inspiration and then enter a card in our gallery.
