Just Us Girls #767 - Mood Board Week
Lisa is the host for Mood Board Week at Just Us Girls.
It looks like Spring is just around the corner judging by the photo. I was inspired by the heart in the bottom right corner.
Which of these pictures will you choose to base your card on? Let's go see which ones the Design Team and our guest designer Jeanne Jachna picked to inspire you.

Just Us GIrls #742 - CASE the Designer Week
Pick a card. Any card. That's what you need to do this week as Just Us Girls has their CASE the Designer challenge hosted by Vicki.
For my card I pulled out an oldie but a goodie from Papertrey Ink.
This challenge gives you a lot of options for making a card for our gallery. I hope to see you there.

AAA Cards #255
Happy new year everyone! I hope your holidays were full of fun, food and family. Mine were and I'm so grateful that we got to spend time together.
I've been in a card making frenzy the last couple of days and it feels so good. I not only did some Design Team work but also made some for a few challenges. The first one due is for AAA Cards.

Freshly Made Sketches #614
I love it when things fall into place. The minute I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches I knew I had the perfect die for it. Then in looking through my Bits box I found just the panel to inlay in the die.
I couldn't let the leftovers go to waste so I made another card.

Time Out #250
At Time Out we are to be inspired by words.
I took the words gratitude and love and meshed them into a card.

Freshly Made Sketches #579 and Inkspirational #286
I made a card for Freshly Made Sketches and didn't like it at all. Fortunately I had cut a second set of the Dogwood from HoneyBee so I made a similar card that I like much better.
The blossoms were cut from a Brusho panel I found in my Bits box, the leaves from a scrap I sprayed with Twisted Citron, and the branch from Bristol so I could color it with Zigs. The background is Altenew paper embossed with SSS's Blossom Field. I embossed a white MFT oval with the SU Subtle folder and placed it on a brown scalloped oval also from MFT. The sentiment is from HoneyBee's My Favorite Flower.
Inkspirational has a mood board with what looks like these flowers so I'm sending my card to them too.
Thanks for dropping by. I love it when you do.

CAS Mix-Up November - Stencils
Loll has brought back the stencil monoprint for this month's challenge at CAS Mix-Up. I don't always have the right stencils or get good results but this time things were going well and I ended up making two cards.

The Flower Challenge #53
This will be a fun challenge at The Flower Challenge. We want you to use your newest stamps and/or dies. You know you all have some.
What stamps will the Design Team and our guest Sathya use? Let's go check it out. I hope they inspire you to make a card for the challenge using your new stamps.

CAS Watercolor May 2020
I used Brushoes to make my sky and then splattered some gouache for stars. The church is from Sunny Studios colored with Distress Inks. While I was playing with Brushoes I made another background with different blues and made a similar card.
Still colored with Distress Inks, this church has a more saturated color and I used gel pens for the lights. Since I cut the panels in half I have enough to make two more cards.
Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful day!

Freshly Made Sketches #422
I knew I wanted to use the PB flowers on the small rectangle so I heat embossed them in white and inked the background in Lucky Clover DOX. I removed the ink on the petals with water and then painted them with Spiced Marmalade DOX. The panel is foam mounted on a Brusho piece that I did a while ago.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope your week gets off to a great start.

CAS Watercolor - October and Time Out #146
Brushos were the answer. I did a panel with several Fall colors, let it dry and cut the leaves. I added them to a circle die from RC and curved a sentiment from PTI along the edge. I picked this sentiment for two reasons. I need some more masculine prayer cards and Time Out wants encouragement cards.
Thanks for dropping by. I love it when you do.

Twofer Challenge #19
The card on the right was inspired by the book Mr. Seahorse by Eric Carle.
He's cut from a Brusho panel and is swimming in a DOX sea with a sentiment is from PS.
I think I should have cut the fins into him but I didn't think about it until he was foam taped down and I didn't want to risk tearing the card. Maybe a googly eye too?
ETA: Darnell found another challenge for me to enter my colorful seahorse into. It's Crazy 4 Challenges and they want you to be inspired by a book. I think this works just fine.
Coming up with a second card was more difficult especially finding a sentiment. Once I saw the one from PB I knew it would work because I had already planned to gold emboss the little fellow.
Unfortunately you can't see his gold sparkle embossing powder or his WOS. Regular DIs were used for the ocean and seaweed and Altenew Sand Dunes for the bottom with a little help from a PTI sand stamp.
It's been a busy time around here and I'm way behind - again - on commenting and entering my favorite challenges. Things will slow down after Labor Day and I can get caught up. I hope.
Thanks for dropping by.
