How much fun will this be? Sue has chosen 'Retro' as her Word Week challenge at
Just Us Girls.
The last time I made a retro card I went mid-century modern. This time I went with the 60's.
I heat embossed the flowers from PTI onto some GinaK key lime cs, coloring in the centers with a yellow gel pen. In the photo they just look like a darker version of the card base. Using some MFT letter dies gifted to me by Michele, I cut the word 'groovy three times then added the heat embossed sub-text.
What era will Retro take you to? The Design Team and our guest designer
Marlena have some interesting cards to inspire you. Make a card and you may be our Chic of the Week and eligible for a guest design spot.

Oh, I LOVE this!! What a delightful card Bobby!
I am loving those flowers paired with the sentiment! It gives me a flashback of the Brady Bunch! Awesome, groovy retro card.
So groovy - I really love your retro look!!!!
All I can think of when looking at this is the song "Feeling Groovy" by Simon and Garfunkel! I loved the 70s! Those flowers are surely reminiscent of that era! Love your card!
Oh Bobby you have me singing that song Lisa mentioned above now thanks to your groovy floral card. Fabulous colours - very 70's.
This card is awesome! The neon color was such a great choice! Exceptional job! FYI...your linky isn't working.
