It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and the colors our host Lisa has chosen are
You know those colors said flowers to me, right? Here's what I did.
The image is one I stamped a long time ago when I had a crafting day with Michele. I had to call her to find out that it's from Penny Black. It's colored with Zigs and looked great when things went downhill. I got a little heavy handed with the black splatters. I tried to compensate with some white ones but the gouache must have been too watered down and faded right into the Bristol when they dried. By then I had already attached the heat embossed sentiment so there was no do-over.
Enough of my sad story. What will you do with these colors for our challenge? I do hope to see your card in our gallery. For inspiration please check out what the Design Team and our guest Nora Noll have made.

Lovely card - I think the sprinkles look fine :)
I totally can see the white splatters Bobby and your card is absolutely lovely!! The colors are so bright and pretty and you know I'm a yellow fan, so this card is GORGEOUS to me!! Beautifully done my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Bobby... I think you are wrong. The splatters are perfect. They add a bit of drama to the card. The flowers are beautifully colored... and you can see the counter balancing white. I think the card is fantastic!
Those colors DO say flowers and what lovely ones you've used! I see that white splatters. This is wonderful!
Those dreaded splatters! Sometimes they fall perfectly and sometimes not! But all those pretty flowers show through beautifully!

The colors are gorgeous on your flowers, Bobby, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder but from here the beauty is obvious
If you didn't do flowers with this color combo I would have been shocked! This is beautiful and the splatters look great! You had no need to fret!

You know I am a splatter fan and I love those black ones - not too many at all. Swooning over how beautiful those flowers are in this weeks colours. When I saw the stamp my first thought was a PB one. They have amazing floral stamps.
These colors said flowers to me too! I think your card is gorgeous! If I hadn't read about your "mistakes" as you describe, I never would have seen them. Still don't! Love it!
What a gorgeous floral card, Bobby! I love the splatters, I don't think you were too heavy handed at all, they give your card a nice artsy look.
