Color Hues #120

I am honored to be guest designing at Color Hues.

I was invited after a recent win and of course I said yes.
Here are the colors for this week's challenge.

And my card

Did those colors scream Halloween to you?  It's funny but I went back and saw other cards I made with that color combination and all but one was Halloween and most of them were for Color Hues.   For this one I blended the background with Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Ink, after masking the moon.  The haunted house is from MFT, the bats from Sizzix, the sentiment from EH and the hill from SSS.

The Design Team has more inspiration for you on the blog.  We'd all love to see your cards using these fun bright colors.  Won't you join us?

An absolutely spook-tacular way to use orange and purple; your blended sky is Halloween perfect, especially as a backdrop to the haunted mansion. So thrilled to have you as our guest designer!

Your bright moon is such an attention grabber, Bobby! That might be the cleanest masking job I've ever seen - what a great Halloween card!
Congrats on your win!

Fa-BOO-lous Halloween card Bobby! I love your beautifully blended background and how perfect it is for the haunted house! Your bright moon and the bats make this card spooky enough but not too scary...LOVE it!! Thanks so much for guesting with us at Color Hues...you're just such a natural fit that I always think you're a part of the team already! Hugs. :0)

Wonderful creation, my friend. Congrats on the guest gig, they are lucky to have you. And this card reflects the reason why you were chosen. Your ink blending is flawless, and the silhouetted images are perfect. FABULOUS design here!
