Double D - Vintage/Shabby Chic

My card for Double D was inspired by my friend Bonnie and some cups she did last summer.  You can see them here.  I sat right down and made one and it has been waiting for me to put it on a card ever since.

The stamp is Hello Beautiful from Altenew, stamped on Bristol and colored with Zigs on a cup from Memory Box.  The paper from Penny Black was a perfect compliment to the flowers so I used two different ones from the pack, cutting the middle panel with a scalloped die from Frantic Stamper and then again in white for the lace.  For the MCS sentiment I used their tag die and made a tea bag, attaching it with a piece of green cord.  I probably should have inked around the edges or something to make it more shabby chic but I left well enough alone before I ruined it. 😁

Thanks for dropping by and spending a bit of your day with me.

Gosh, that's the perfect teacup for stamping your own decoration, and it's so very pretty! I love the teabag tag for the sentiment and the lacy scallop frame and that pretty PB paper, sigh. I checked out Bonnie's card again, too, and then her post sent me to another card. It was a wonderful trip all around! Bobbie, thanks for playing along with us at Double D!
