Addicted to CAS #275 , NBUS #71 and PBSC

It's been a long time since I've played at Addicted to CAS.  I happened to see Vicki's card and that  inspired me to make this.

This darling bunny is from Penny Black as is the sentiment.  He was stamped in VersaFine Smokey Gray on Bristol and colored with Zigs.  I was a little disappointed in the one I used for the flower.  It didn't seem to want to spread like the others did.

Since this is the first outing for this stamp, I'm sending my card to NBUS #71 and also to Penny Black's Saturday Challenge.   I didn't use the option.

Thanks for dropping by.

Addicted to CAS #182

Jaydee has picked a fun and easy challenge for Addicted to CAS challenge this week.

I'm sure we all have a lot of animals to pick from.  I chose this darling bunny from Gerda Steiner to make an Easter card.
I ventured into coloring with the few Copics I have.  Add to that some glossy pen for the eyes and a sentiment from PTI stamped in a matching color and my CAS card is done.

The Design Team has cards to inspire you on the blog.  We hope you'll make a card for the gallery.

CAS(E) This Sketch #365

CAS(E) This Sketch has quite the sketch this week.  Because I need more Easter cards I turned it upside down to make this card.
I started by stamping the eggs and animals from Gerda Steiner and coloring them with Zigs.  I needed something for the third panel and decided to make my version of an Easter basket by inking up a basket weave embossing folder with HA Soft Brown and running it through my die cutting machine.

Now that we're social distancing until the end of April, it's more important than ever to send out those cards we've been making to residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities, friends who are having difficulty dealing with all that is going on in their lives, and those working on the front lines.

You are all in my prayers.

AAA Cards #161

I have an entry for AAA Cards based on this:
I chose not to do the option because I wanted to use my cute little Gerda Steiner peeking friends.
A little Copic coloring, a sentiment from PTI and another card is ready for Easter.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you're getting a lot of card making done during this time of social distancing.

Tag You're It! #85

Bobby here and I'm your inspiration host for Tag You're It! this time.  I thought Easter would be a great theme as there are a wide variety of images you can use.

For my tag I used some darling critters from Gerda Steiner.
I stenciled clouds in the background and then added the images that were colored with PolyChromos pencils.

Please check out the rest of the Design Team's tags and hopefully you'll be inspired to make one for our gallery.

Just Us Girls #479 - Color Week

Nancy is our host for this week's Color Challenge at Just Us Girls and these are the colors she has chosen.
They say "Spring" to me so that's the direction I went with my card.
I was inspired by Tanja Kabel who made a card using the Gerda Steiner bunny peeking across a triangle in the corner of the card.   I saved it to Pinterest but can't find the original post to link it.  I placed my bunny on a piece of purple patterned paper, added the teal and placed the GS duckling peeking out from the other side.  I used PolyChromos to color my critters and a black glaze pen to give them shiny eyes.

I hope these colors inspire you to make a card for the challenge.  Check out what the Design Team and our Guest Designer Greta have done if you need some inspiration.

Inkspirational #163, CASology #306 and Time Out #

The ideas are flowing and my desk is covered with cards.  I don't usually put more than one card in a post but since I will be heading to the lake tomorrow and will be gone until the following weekend I have to get them entered.  First up is a card for Inkspirational.
We often overlook the small stamps in our sets so I took a good look at some of my Altenew florals and used one of their smaller images for this card.
I lightly colored the flowers with Shaded Lilac and Bundled Sage Distress Inks and then added Antique Linen to the background.  PTI provided the Fine Linen card base and the sentiment.

The next card was made for CASology (Bear) but it also fits the Time Out challenge (Warm).
My favorite EbyE bear is holding his security bunny and sending warm thoughts to the recipient.  He was cut from Smoke cs and shaded with PolyChromos pencils as was the bunny but you can't tell from the photo.  A black glaze pen brightens their eyes and noses.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do and even more when you leave a comment.

Little Red Wagon Round Up

I saw the challenge at Little Red Wagon yesterday and quickly made a card using their 'round' theme.
I won some Reverse Confetti stamps from Leigh Penner during the Season's Giving Blog Hop and these cuties were included.  I've barely begun on my Valentines and I'm already getting into Easter.  This winter is going by way too fast.

Addicted to Stamps and More #269

Yes, stampers.  It's Clean and Simple time at Addicted to Stamps and More.  Here's my CAS card.
This darling little bunny making snow angels is one of Michele's from The Cat's Pajamas that I stamped when she was visiting.  I lightly colored him with Zigs and cut the panel with PTI Tipped Tops.  I started to use some glitter paper for the background but it wasn't the same color as the Bristol and that bothered me so I took another piece of Bristol and embossed it with the Fabric folder to make it look like snow drifts.

We'd love to see your clean and simple cards in the gallery.  You will definitely want to check out what the rest of the Design Team has done for some inspiration.

Freshly Made Sketches #258

I needed a baby card for my cousin's daughter who just had a little boy.  I used Freshly Made Sketches as my starting point.

A little quilted blanket holds the Uniko bunny, colored with DI and fussy cut. The sentiment from SSS is the only baby one I have but it worked great.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope your week gets off to a great start.

Freshly Made #225 and CAS(E) This Sketch #161

Good Monday all.  With my sewing machine taking up one end of my work desk, I still managed to find room to get a couple of sketch cards done.

This one is for Freshly Made.  I just got this darling bunny from Uniko and was eager to use her.  I colored her with Spun Sugar DI, fussy cut and mounted her with foam tape over some old DP.  The sentiment is from the same set.

The sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch was a little trickier but by mixing a few stamps sets together I got this.
The sentiment is from Stamplorations and the butterflies from PTI and PB, colored with Distress Ink.

Have a great week and thanks for dropping by.
