I haven't been able to play at Merry Monday for three weeks because I didn't have any images that fit the challenge. This week I had the exact one needed. Thanks for the inspiring photo, Marcia.
I was excited because I knew my PTI Jars and their accompanying Winter Fillers were perfect.
I die cut and stamped the jars and the candy, coloring it with Zigs. I embossed the dove gray background with some TH greens and added the sentiment from CPD. Which flavor do you prefer?
Thanks for dropping by.

Addicted to Stamps and More #273
The first challenge of the year for Addicted to Stamps and More is a Holiday Challenge.
It's time for you to check out what the rest of the design team has done for your inspiration. You can use any holiday to spark your imagination.
We hope to see your card in the gallery.
I didn't want to do another Christmas card and I ran out of time to finish a Valentine I was working on, so here's a card I made last year that I never posted. I thought it would be great for this challenge.
I have two friends whose birthdays are October 31. I made this for one of them using PTI's jar filler stamps. The sentiment was computer generated. It's time for you to check out what the rest of the design team has done for your inspiration. You can use any holiday to spark your imagination.

Just Us Girls #373
It's trend week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has chosen 'Jars'.
There are pint jars and quart jars. Jars of jam or jars to hold a spring bouquet. Whatever you imagine a jar being or doing, make it into a card. You could be Chic of the Week and possibly guest design for a month. I used my jars to hold Christmas candy.
The jars and candy are from PTI, stamped on Bristol board and colored with Zigs. Yes I see that smudge on the side of the candy canes. I tried to add some shading to the jar and the red ran. I think it looks like a shadow on the glass. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;) In fact I smudged a little green to make it look like I did it on purpose.
Time to check out what the rest of the Design Team and guest Designer Theresa Gregory have made to inspire you. I hope we see you in the gallery.

Merry Monday #222, The Flower Challenge #2 and HLS Christmas
We got our first glimpse of snow this morning but that's all it was. Nothing on the ground - thank goodness. But it's coming.
I have a couple of Christmas cards for you today. Up first is the one for Merry Monday.
We have to use red, white and gray and these mints from CP did the trick. Once they were stamped they looked rather flat so I cut a stencil with the die and clear embossed each little candy. For some reason the extra candy looks a little yellow.
The next card is for The Flower Challenge (special occasion) and HLS Christmas (watercolor).
I platinum embossed and watercolored this PB poinsettia last Christmas and it's been in my UFO bin. When Michele gave me this embossed shimmer paper I knew it had found a home.
I'm so glad you dropped by. I hope your weekend is going well.

Muse #147
Our darling Michele from I Card Everyone is the Muse this week and who could resist making a card inspired by this lovely punny Valentine.
I changed the orientation, used candy instead of popcorn and kept the black and white paper. Jar and filler from PTI colored with Zigs. I love the way this turned out. Ouch, just dislocated my shoulder. lol ;)
Thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful week.

CASology #115
I was floored when Melissa emailed me and asked if I would be the guest designer at CASology this week. After I picked myself up off the floor, I emailed her back and said I'd be delighted. Then I saw the cue word.
What am I going to do with that? I love to eat chocolate. In fact, some would say I'm a chocoholic. But to make a card about it and with my limited stamp supply. That was going to take some thinking. I laid in bed early one morning and the idea came to me. Now if I could only pull it off. I played around with the elements and this is the final result.
I die cut a triangle from MFT and used my corner chomper on the bottom two edges. A little scissor adjustment on the sides and some foil and it looks like a Hershey's kiss. Yay! Just what I was going for. Now for the little paper tag. I tried a couple of other sentiments embossed in different colors on vellum but this one seemed the right font and a perfect saying. It's stamped in HA navy and clear embossed.
What would you do with the word "chocolate"? Go on over to CASology and check out what the design team did. Let them inspire you, then make a card of your own and enter it into the gallery.
Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments so I hope you leave one.
