CAS Christmas - Winter Flower

When my neighbor passed away, her daughter let me take some of her plants for my own garden.  The ones I cherish most are the Hellebores, which are sometimes called Christmas Rose. That's what I picked for my Winter Flower for the CAS Christmas Challenge.
The stamp is from WPlus9 that I heat embossed in white and colored with a variety of inks.  The light green panel was cut with the hemstitch die and I added the double layer sentiment die from Elizabeth Crafts.

CAS Christmas is also celebrating its second birthday.  Thank you, Loll, for giving us a fun challenge that gives us a head start on our Christmas cards.

Edited to add:  I see that this card qualifies for a new-to-me challenge (I know.  Where have I been?)  Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge so I'm entering it there for #481.

Inkspirational #196

When Michele and I had a crafting meet at my cottage, she had some orange paper that she wasn't liking very much and gave it to me to see if I could do anything with it.  Challenge accepted!  Then along came the challenge at Inkspirational and it is the perfect spot for my card.
The paper came to me with the hemstitch piercing already on it.  I thought white pumpkins from SSS with gold leaves and a gold embossed sentiment from CB would look lovely on the bright orange. Was I right?  Can't waste that paper. :D

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a wonderful day!
