Just Us Girls #452 - Word Week

We're back to Word Week at Just Us Girls and our host Maria has chosen the word "Beach".
I was going to do another flip flop card until I was looking for something in my craft closet and a stamp fell out.  It may have been a freebie from someplace and I didn't think I would ever use it so I didn't put it with my other stamps.  It was meant to be because I really like how this card came out.
I white heat embossed the image and sentiment on watercolor paper and colored it with Distress Ink. To give it a more finished look, I cut the panel with the MFT Wonky rectangle and mounted it on white cardstock.

Julia Aston is our Guest Designer this month and she and the rest of the Design Team have made some wonderful beach cards.  We hope they inspire you to make a card for the challenge.

I've not had something this cute fall out of my closet, Bobby... your details are what makes this scene so sweet! Who didn't have a bucket and shovel set in these exact colors? So fun!

Love when things like that happen. Such a great beachy card! You really managed to get the tons of the sky, water and sand perfectly. I tend to add too much color and it becomes a big mess. Great job! I would be lost without my Wonky Rectangles.

What screams 'beach' better than a bucket and spade in the sand? The lovely calm sea and cloudless sky. Perfect! So colourful Bobby.

Beautiful background for your beach and the pail and bucket are perfect! Makes me want to go play in the sand.

What an adorable card you've created with your 'fell out of your closet' stamp! I'd love to be sitting on a beach right about now...building a sand castle...

Gosh, this delicious beach scene took me back, Bobby ... the colouring is fabulous ... love how you took the serendipitous tumbling from the closet stamp and made it the focus of this splendid summery design! Hugs, Anita :)
