Double D - Springtime Flowers

With Springtime flowers in bloom and so many flower dies and stamps in my stash, I just had to make a card for Double D.

Their mood board reminded me of the PTI pansy die that I have.  The petals are cut in white and the center is from a scrap of sprayed Villainous Potion.  The background panel is from The Greetery's Nordic Frame. I thought I had swatched all my cardstock but neither green is there so I can't tell you what I used.  I wish I knew because I love the combination.

Color Hues #28

I love red and kraft together, especially for Christmas, so here's a card I made for Color Hues using their colors.

The Altenew poinsettia was cut from red, inked around the edges with DI and the petal ends embossed with white.  I cut two panels using The Greetery's Nordic Frames and stamped the white one with a PTI sentiment.  This won't be the last you see of this die.  It makes a lovely dimensional flower in any color.

Color Hues #9

I love the colors of this week's Color Hues so I had to make a card.

While I had my PTI lantern on my desk I made a second card for this challenge.

The lantern was die cut from gray cardstock and stamped.  The flowers and candle were stamped in reds and the leaves in gray.  All of this was put on The Greetery's Nordic Frame and then on gray cardstock. I added a little red gel pen to the berries.

Color Hues #4

I stuttered a bit before making a card in orange and blue.  That's what the new challenge at Color Hues is asking for and I wanted to make a card for them.  For orange I immediately thought of the variety of pumpkin stamps and dies  that were adorning my desk.  But what about the blue?  All I needed to do was add a sky.

I inked the panel with Distress Oxide, spritzed it and then cut it with the Nordic frame from The Greetery.  The SSS pumpkins were cut from some snippets and added above the PTI sentiment.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you have a chance to get crafty today.
