Just Us GIrls #815 - Mood Board Week

It's Mood Board Week at Just Us Girls and Carol M has chosen this.

Aren't those painted rocks fun?  I can't wait to see what you make for the challenge. This is what came to me.

Spellbinder's Essential Floral Reflection was cut from PTI Smoky Shadow and their Floral Reflection flowers were cut from scraps.  The background is Luxurious Motifs from Altenew and I thought a scalloped circle for the sentiment from EH went well with it.

Color Hues #106 and AAA Colorful #14

With a color duo like lemon and lime it would be so easy to make a card featuring either of those fruits but I went a different way for Color Hues. 

Altenew's Daisies were embossed on Ranger watercolor paper to keep the integrity of white petals and colored with Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Crushed Olive, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard See and Lost Shadow.  The sentiment from Ellen Hutson was stamped on a banner from Sizzix and a yellow border added. 

AAA Colorful has the same colors for their challenge so my card will go to their gallery too.

Inspired By #119

You know those little stamps that you often overlook?  I decided that one of them would make a great card for Inspired By based on this photo.

See the bouquets on the fabric?  The one from BearWare by EbyE worked well to make my 'fabric'.

I forgot about the Woven Stripes that I got from C9 and that's what started the idea for my card.  I stamped, watercolored with DI and sprinkled the posies around.  The sentiment comes from Warm Fuzzies that I stamped on a FS tag and tied on some button thread to mimic that on the flowers.

Since this is the initial use of the background stamp and the sentiment, I'm also sending this to Darnell's NBUS challenge.

The Card Concept #114

My former house used to have a high fence behind it and I would have wanted to decorate it like the photo from The Card Concept.  I did actually have colored paint cans hanging though.

No fence where I am now so I did it on paper.  Yes I got literal again.

I saw a video by Rina K and adjusted her idea to make my fence, using Altenew ink.  The boots are from PB and I colored them with PolyChromos, adding gel pen to the flower centers.  I also used gel pens for the flowers that I put in them.  Both the flowers and the sentiment are from EBE.
