Just Us Girls #767 - Mood Board Week

Lisa is the host for Mood Board Week at Just Us Girls.

It looks like Spring is just around the corner judging by the photo.  I was inspired by the heart in the bottom right corner.

And I even had a Spring sentiment to add to my heart wreath from The Greetery.  I tried my Brushos for the first time in quite a while and decided I am not very good with them.  I actually ended up using a smooshing technique to spread the colors and I like it much better.  I cut the center of the heart from white and inserted it so I could emboss the background with SU's Tasteful Textile.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee.

Which of these pictures will you choose to base your card on?  Let's go see which ones the Design Team and our guest designer Jeanne Jachna picked to inspire you.

Tag You're It! # 83

Kara is the host for this challenge at Tag You're It! and this is her prompt.
I was playing around with my Altenew Dainty Swiss Dots background stamp for another challenge and used the discard for my tag.
You are supposed to be able to turn the stamp 90 degrees to do another color dot but I didn't think they lined up as well as I would have liked.  It still works for the background of my tag featuring Altenew tulips and a sentiment from Penny Black.  I wish the sentiment were true. ;)

We' d love to see your tags featuring polka dots.  For inspiration please check out what the Design Team has done.

Tag You're It! #44

It's time for another challenge at Tag You're It! and the inspiration for this one is brought to us by Nancy Penir.
What a lovely spring bouquet in that umbrella.  I went with the umbrella theme but put my flowers on it.
I colored some translucent embossing paste and stenciled on the raindrops. The umbrella is a die from MFT and I cut the green with my decorative scissors (Don't tell anyone but my first stamping underneath didn't come out so well.)  The silver embossed sentiment is from PB.

How it's your turn.  Go on over to Tag, You're It! to see what the rest of the Design Team has for your inspiration and then link up your card.  We'd love to see what you create.

ATCAS 9 and CTO 106

I made this card for the challenge at Addicted to CAS.

but before I posted it, it also qualified for the challenge at Celebrate the Occasion April Showers, use an umbrella.

.

The card base is cut 4.25 by 4.25 to allow the umbrella to stick above and still fit in an A2 envelope.  The umbrella is cut from the Paisley cartridge in three layers and inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.  The sentiment is computer generated and is the first portion of an Irish blessing.  I continued the blessing on the inside.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
