It's time for another Time Out Challenge and this time you are to be inspired by words. "There truly is not an occasion that is not improved by wearing something festive. " Emma Straub
I think we all enjoy putting on a little bling now and then, or maybe even an ugly sweater. Whatever you like, transfer that into a card for the challenge. For inspiration, check out the Design Team.
Edited to Add: I just saw The Paper Players challenge and this card fits there perfectly.
I'm back home in my craft studio so I should be able to use more of my crafty stash but the card for AAA Birthday is one I made before I left. I knew I wanted to play with my Heart Hugs animals from Honey Bee and this is what I did.
The bear was cut from kraft and colored with Distress Ink for shadows and dimension. Both the balloon and the heart are from the set and were cut from red, with Glossy Accents on the balloon and black glaze pen on the nose and eyes. The sentiment is from Altenew.
I'm so glad you dropped by. I love it when you do.
The fact that I found a stamp set I brought with me at the last minute that was hidden in a hastily packed bag means I can enter the CAS Christmas Challenge- Tree.
The tree and sentiment are from RC and the dome die from WF. I stamped the tree with C9 Parsley and clear heat embossed it, then colored the circles with Zigs and added Glossy Accents over them. I embossed the panel behind and lightly inked with Speckled Egg before popping up the domed panel with foam. The sentiment looks crooked but then so does the bottom of the card. A photo mystery for sure.
