Two of my favorite designers have cards to CASE on challenges.
The Flower Challenge has several designers to CASE and I chose
Karen from Snippets. She always does wonderful floral cards with beautiful backgrounds and fantastic sentiments. You have to check out her blog if you haven't already. This is her card for the challenge:
Like Karen, I took an unfinished background for my card but left it in one piece.
The background was left over from my shaving cream marbling. I put it in a frame and added die cuts from the same TH set that Karen used. I thought this worked well for a sympathy card so I added the sentiment from PTI.
My next card is my CASE of the one
Hannelie of Desert Diva did for
Time Out. Hannelie does some of the most magnificent cards using her Silhouette, all very creative. Check out her blog to see more work like this one she did for the challenge.
I did a sort of a reverse CASE, coloring the flower and making the background black and white.
The PB lily was stamped on watercolor paper that had been cut with PIT's Tipped Tops and colored with DIs. A sentiment from HA and some splatters were added before mounting it on black and white stripe paper. I like this one so much I may do it in other colors.
I will also sent this one to
CAS Watercolor.
ETA: And at
CAS Mix-up. I don't know why I didn't originally do this. Thanks Nancy for telling me it qualifies.
Thanks for dropping by today. I hope you've found some inspiration.
